Got this fryer just before Christmas to do a turkey. I had purchased two birds thinking I would smoke one and fry the other. Both were smaller with one being a couple onces over 10# and the other at 14#. Being just th five of us I defrosted the 10# bird and fried it. Sure glad I didn't go the other way and thaw the 14#. Still can't figure out how they can get that size, or even a 12# bird in the basket. The 10# pretty well filled it up. Worked well and I will use it again keeping in mind using a smaller bird. Cleanup was simple as soon as the oil cooled enough to handle.

Thanks Kevin, as far as I've been able to tell, the Masterbuilt is pretty new and I don't know too many people who own these yet. Hopefully that changes !
