This is my favorite of all of my cook books. It is not the most complete. It does not have the most recipes. But it IS my favorite. The stories and photos are great (I particularly like the photo of the governor of Texas using a full sized mop to baste meat), and being from Texas, I have eaten at a lot of the BBQ places mentioned.
